Estimates, paint and the work
Is the estimate free?
Yes. We visit, look at what needs doing, talk through colors and finishes and send you a written price. There is no obligation.
Are you insured?
Yes. We carry liability insurance and workers compensation for our crew, and we send certificates on request.
Are you certified for lead-safe work?
Yes. Our company and crew leads are certified for lead-safe renovation in Wisconsin, which the law requires for paint work on homes built before 1978.
Who buys the paint?
We do, at the grade named in the quote. If you have a brand or a color you love, tell us and we price it in.
Can you help me choose colors?
Yes. We bring large color samples, paint test patches on your walls and look at them with you in daylight and in the evening.
Do I have to be home?
Not all day. We need someone at the start to walk through the work, and again at the end. Many customers give us a key or a code.
What about pets?
Keep them away from the rooms we are working in and from fresh paint. Tell us about them and we close doors behind us.
How do I pay?
A deposit when you book the date and the balance when the job is finished and you have walked through it with us.
